Rano LG Secretary Receives NTI Award for Promoting Education

The National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), Rano Centre, has presented an award to the Secretary of Rano Local Government Area, Ismail Yusuf Musa, in recognition of his contributions to educational development in the community.

The award was presented during the matriculation ceremony held on Saturday for new students at the Centre in Kano State.

The NTI Rano Branch Coordinator, Malam Ado Baita, said the award was in recognition of the Secretary’s active support for local educational initiatives.

“This award acknowledges the support provided by the Secretary toward the promotion of education at the grassroots level,” Baita said.

In response, Musa expressed gratitude for the award, describing it as a humbling recognition of his commitment to advancing education in his community.

“I have always believed in the power of education to transform lives, and this award inspires me to do even more,” he said.

He also emphasized the significance of the matriculation ceremony and encouraged the new students to remain focused on their studies.

“This marks the beginning of your academic journey. Take it seriously, remain disciplined, and always strive for excellence. Your future—and the future of our community—depends on what you build starting today,” the Secretary added.
