Ex-Kwankwaso Ally Yunusa Dangwani Joins APC, Vows Nationwide Mobilization

A former associate of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Kano politician, Yunusa Adamu Dangwani, has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying he will work to mobilize support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Dangwani’s defection was announced at an event in Kano, where several former members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also joined the APC. The event was led by Kano APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, and attended by other party members.

Dangwani, previously aligned with NNPP leader Kwankwaso, said “We are here to work with APC leaders at all levels to ensure a resounding victory for the party in 2027.” He added that his move was motivated by a desire to join a party he believes can meet the aspirations of Nigerians.

Abdullahi Abbas, while addressing the new members, said their entry would contribute to the party’s grassroots efforts and upcoming election plans.
