Nollywood actor Zubby Michael recently delighted fans with a lively display of his dance skills, as he was captured in a video grooving energetically to a popular track.
The playful clip, shared by actress Eniola Ajao, comes ahead of the release of her highly anticipated film Owambe Thieves, which has generated considerable excitement among both colleagues and fans alike.
Zubby, affectionately known as the ‘biggest actor in Africa’, portrayed the role of Cheta, a conflicted husband torn between survival and moral dilemmas. In the video, he donned an outfit resembling that of a traditional Yoruba man while showing off his unique dance moves, all in an effort to hype up the upcoming movie.
Eniola, who playfully referred to Zubby as her “husband,” posted the fun-filled video on her social media, teasing him about his energetic performance.
“Oko omo Yoruba My odogwu1 this dance no too much like this? @zubbymichael always a happy man. This is the way we’ll be graciously dancing to all cinemas come April 18 to watch Owambe Thieves,” she wrote.
Owambe Thieves tells the story of Cheta (Zubby) and Lola (Eniola Ajao), a young couple facing tough financial challenges.
Their struggles push them into a life of crime, where they steal from lavish weddings where money is carelessly tossed around.
