A Nigerian lady who completed her mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at a local utensils store was pleasantly surprised with a generous reward from the shop’s owner.
Upon finishing her service year, the shop owner presented her with a ₦70,000 gift as a token of gratitude for her hard work.
In a video shared by Dee Utensils, the shop owner spoke about the positive influence the corps member had on the business during her tenure.
The owner then asked if the young lady would be interested in continuing to work at the store, to which she eagerly agreed.
As a show of appreciation, the shop manager was instructed to adjust her salary to the new minimum wage of ₦70,000.
