Nigerian comedian and preacher Woli Arole recently shared an experience involving a motivational speaker who once inspired him with lofty promises.

In an Instagram post, Arole recounted how the speaker had consistently told him he was a “nation builder” and would play a key role in shaping Nigeria’s future. However, the speaker has now relocated to the United States, claiming that he would continue his mission of building the nation from afar.

“This life sha. One of my Egbon wey be motivational speaker, he dey always tell me ‘Arole, I am a nation builder, we would build Nigeria together’. He don relocate to the US now. He said I can build from afar”.

In other news, Popular fashion designer and influencer Veekee James has opened up about her habit of reading online comments, revealing why she pays close attention to what people say on social media.

In a recent post, Veekee shared that while many celebrities avoid comment sections due to negativity, she sees them as a valuable space for feedback, connection, and growth. “I know the internet can be brutal, but I also believe there’s a lot to learn from what people say,” she explained.

According to her, reading comments allows her to understand her audience better—both the love and the criticism. She acknowledges that while not every comment deserves attention, constructive feedback helps her improve her craft and stay in touch with her supporters.

Veekee also admitted that engaging with comments makes her feel more connected to her fans. “People take time to write their thoughts, whether good or bad, and I think it’s important to acknowledge that,” she said.

Despite the occasional negativity, Veekee maintains that she has learned to filter out unnecessary hate and focus on meaningful interactions.

“They are my spiritual problem, I cannot run away from it. I attack them spiritually and put them in my prayers”, She stated.

Furthermore, Veeke James revealed that she reads comments online to identify two-faced individuals, stating that she refuses to let backlash comments drive her into depression.

“I intentionally read comments so that I would know the ones to block, because some of them are pretenders, you will see them outside they will come and hug you.But on social media, they are tearing you down”, She added.
