“Why I Want To Be Mellow Now”- Odumeje Says

- Prophet Odumeje, is changing his ministry approach.
- He is moving from a radical and theatrical preaching style to a calmer, more soft-spoken demeanor.
- The shift is influenced by his age and personal growth.
Popular Nigerian clergyman, Prophet Odumeje, has revealed a shift in his ministry approach, transitioning from his once radical and theatrical style of preaching to a more calm and soft-spoken demeanor.
Speaking during a recent worship session with his congregation, the Anambra-based pastor explained that age has played a significant role in his decision. According to him, the high-energy preaching style he became known for was something he developed during his youth, but those days are now behind him.
“I am no longer a young man,” Odumeje told his church members. “Age is catching up with me, and it’s time to adopt a more mellow style. I want people to see me and say, ‘That is papa.’”
The clergyman, widely recognized for his unconventional methods and dramatic sermons, emphasized that his transformation is part of a natural progression. He added that this new chapter in his ministry will reflect deeper wisdom and maturity, aimed at building a stronger spiritual connection with his followers.
Odumeje’s announcement marks a notable change in the tone of his ministry, signaling a move toward a more reflective and fatherly presence in the lives of his congregation.
