A woman has come forward with claims that popular activist Verydarkman is entangled in numerous unresolved legal cases, criticizing his approach to activism.

The activist, known for his controversial style, was reportedly detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) last Friday and remains in custody.

A video circulating widely online features the woman alleging that Verydarkman is linked to nearly 40 different legal matters. She expressed concern over his methods, urging him to adopt a more constructive way of advocating for the public.

She further remarked that his continued freedom, despite the alleged volume of pending cases, could send a discouraging signal to ordinary Nigerians about the justice system.

She said …

“You are fighting for the people, fight constructively, VDM has cases upon cases upon his head, over 40 of them, and you think you can flout, and walk up and down and nothing happens to you. What does that register in the of average Nigerians….”
