A vendor has taken to social media to accuse popular Nigerian singer Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, better known as Zlatan, of owing her a sum of ₦510,000. The accusation was made public via a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where the vendor called out the singer for allegedly failing to settle the debt.
In her post, the vendor stated that she had attempted to contact Zlatan on several occasions through Snapchat and Instagram but had not received any responses. “Zlatan, you owe me ₦510k. I’ve tried texting you on Snapchat and Instagram, but you haven’t replied,” she wrote, tagging the singer’s official handle, @Zlatan_Ibile.
The vendor further explained that the debt stemmed from a transaction at Zlatan’s clothing pop-up event in Cape Town, where she had sold items at the event. She urged the singer to honor his financial obligation, emphasizing that she needed the money to meet her own financial responsibilities. “I’m the girl who sold something at your clothing pop-up party in Cape Town. Please try and pay; I have bills to pay,” she added.
The post has since garnered attention online, with many users expressing support for the vendor. However, as of the time of this report, there has been no official response from Zlatan addressing the claims. The singer’s silence on the matter has left fans and followers speculating about the situation, while the vendor continues to await payment for the alleged debt.
This incident highlights the growing trend of public calls for payment of debts on social media, with many questioning the ethics of such public accusations.
