Sales Rep Caught Stealing and Reselling Employer’s Clothes
A Nigerian businesswoman has accused a sales representative of theft. She claims the rep took clothes from her store, removed the tags, and sold them.
After leading the police to the rep’s home, she recovered ₦601,000 in cash and found more stolen items.
On TikTok, she warned others about overly religious individuals, stating she had trusted the rep for over a year due to her Muslim faith and frequent prayers. Although she had some doubts, she initially dismissed them.

“She removed all the tags from my clothes and sold them. The only thing I was able to recover was ₦601k.”
She realized she was restocking frequently without seeing any profit and was unaware of the ongoing theft.
“I noticed I was constantly restocking but not seeing the money. I never knew she was secretly ripping me off.”
After her suspicions grew, she contacted the police, who helped recover many clothes and bags, in addition to the ones that had already been sold.
“We went to her house with the police and recovered a lot of clothes and bags, aside from the ones she had sold and removed the tags from.”
