Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has shared how she nearly clapped back at social media trolls who mocked the size of her engagement ring when she first posted it online.

Speaking during a live session with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Kadiri recounted how people flooded her comment section with unkind remarks after she proudly shared news of her engagement.

The actress, who is also a mother of two, admitted that she can be petty when provoked and revealed that she recently revisited the old post. Fueled by the memory, she began checking the profiles of those who mocked her, intending to respond.

“In her words:

“I remember when I got engaged, I don’t know who sent me, I went and posted it o. Oh my God. These people started laughing at the size of my ring.
“They don’t know that I’m petty. So let me tell you, two weeks ago, I went back to that post and went through some of the people who insulted the size of my ring. I started going to their pages one after the other. I was in the mood! I wanted to go and say, “How far?”

Despite her initial anger, Kadiri revealed she restrained herself to avoid ending up on gossip blogs or dragging unnecessary attention to herself.

The talented actress is reported to have tied the knot with her husband, Ezerika, in 2018. The couple has since welcomed two daughters.
