Reignite your dreams, aeronautic engineer urges Africans
A US-based Aeronautical Engineer and founder of Phemotron Systems, Dr Femi Ishola, has urged Nigerians and other Africans to reignite their determination to succeed.
He made the call in a speech posted on his LinkedIn on Friday, following the success of his company at the US International Satellite Space Pitch Competition 2025 in Washington, DC.
Leading his aerospace technology firm, Ishola became the first African-owned company to win the award in the competition’s nine-year history.
In his speech, he said, “My short acceptance speech was a raw, impassioned shout-out to countless fellow African dreamers out there, to reignite and rekindle their resolve!”
He added that his greatest aspiration was to inspire a generation of change-makers who will propel the African continent from the rubble to the stars.
