Popular TikToker Dies After Seizure During Live Stream In Lagos

A well-known TikTok personality, recognized as ‘Disturbing’, tragically passed away after experiencing a seizure while streaming live from his home in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The incident, which took place on Thursday, quickly gained attention after footage emerged showing the entertainer in visible distress before collapsing.

In addition to his TikTok fame, Disturbing was also a cobbler and musician. He had recently gained further recognition for his active participation in the ‘Justice for Mohbad’ movement.

In a heartfelt statement posted on TikTok, his wife, Omowunmi, shared the heartbreaking details of the incident. She explained that he had fallen and struck his head against a stone during the seizure.

She described the scene, revealing that while she was in the kitchen preparing his meal, neighbours alerted her to the emergency. “Yesterday morning, my husband was live on TikTok while I was cooking. Suddenly, he had a seizure, fell, and hit his head on a stone. Blood was pouring from his head. A young boy and some neighbours noticed him, thought he had fainted, and splashed water on him. They called me from the kitchen,” she said.

Disturbing was rushed to the hospital, where doctors attempted to stabilize him, but unfortunately, he passed away on Friday morning after being placed on oxygen.

Omowunmi further clarified that her late husband had a known medical history of seizures and had been receiving treatment for the condition. She dismissed rumors circulating online that his death was linked to a spiritual attack. “His most recent seizure was in February. This was purely a medical issue,” she explained.
