Pascal Dozie, founder of defunct Diamond Bank is dead

Pascal Dozie, the founder of the now-defunct Diamond Bank Plc and former chairman of MTN Nigeria, has passed away
He was aged 85.
According to a statement issued by the family on Tuesday, the business tycoon died on Monday evening.
Dozie was born on April 9, 1939, to Charles Dozie, a Catholic Catechist. His birth was met with considerable attention due to his strikingly fair skin and unique appearance, which sparked a bit of drama at the time. However, as he grew older, the excitement surrounding his birth soon faded.
He received his early education at Our Lady’s School Emekuku, the Holy Ghost Juniorate Seminary, and Holy Ghost College in Owerri, where he completed his West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). He then moved to the United Kingdom, where he earned a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics.
