Osimhen to decide future May — Fabrizio

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen will begin assessing his potential transfer options in May, according to respected football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Nigerian international, currently on loan at Turkish giants Galatasaray from Napoli, is expected to be on the move this summer with several top European clubs vying for his signature.
Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, revealed that Osimhen was unlikely to remain at either Galatasaray or parent club Napoli beyond this season.
“The reality is that Victor Osimhen is fully expected to leave Galatasaray to return to Napoli and leave Napoli,” Romano said.
“Osimhen is not staying at Napoli, Osimhen is most likely not staying at Galatasaray, and Osimhen is going to assess starting from next week. So already from May, he’s going to assess the potential options on the table that could be in several countries.”
The 26-year-old forward has been in sensational form during his loan spell at Galatasaray, having scored 29 goals in 33 competitive matches since joining the club last summer.
Romano further disclosed that Napoli are keen to resolve Osimhen’s future swiftly, with the Italian club hoping to avoid another prolonged transfer saga involving the Nigerian striker.
“Napoli want to sell the player as soon as possible,” continued Romano.
“The intention of all parties involved is not to have another saga with Osimhen till the final days of the market. The intention is to sort the situation already in June, avoid any case during the whole summer, let the player settle in a new club in the best way possible.”
The Premier League appears to be Osimhen’s preferred destination, with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Chelsea all reportedly keeping tabs on his situation.
Interestingly, Romano revealed that Manchester United and Chelsea have been informed that Osimhen would consider moving to either club even without Champions League football on offer.
In Spain, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also set to battle for the striker’s signature. According to reports from Diario AS, Barcelona see Osimhen as a potential alternative to Robert Lewandowski and Real Madrid are considering him as a replacement should Vinicius Junior depart for Saudi Arabia in what could become a record-breaking transfer.
The Nigeria international is expected to be available for approximately €72m (£62m), significantly less than his £64m release clause, as Napoli are desperate to offload him following a complete fallout with the club’s board.
