NSA Ribadu’s Office Hilux Stolen During Juma’at Prayers

The FCT Police Command has launched an investigation into the theft of a black Toyota Hilux belonging to the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), Nuhu Ribadu, which was stolen while the official attended Friday’s Juma’at prayers in Abuja.

Sources reveal that the vehicle was parked at around 1:05 p.m. opposite the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) complex in Area 10, while Ribadu attended prayers at a nearby mosque. Upon returning, the ONSA official discovered the vehicle had been stolen.

Security expert Zagazola Makama reported the incident on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the theft was promptly reported to the Garki Police Division around 2:00 p.m., triggering a swift response from law enforcement agencies.

In response, the FCT Police Command initiated a stop-and-search operation at various checkpoints across the city’s entry and exit points.

Authorities confirmed that an active investigation is underway, with efforts focused on locating the stolen vehicle and apprehending those responsible.
