A Nigerian woman named Patience Addra had her wedding canceled just one day before the ceremony and took to Facebook to advise her followers to date individuals who handle disagreements with maturity.

The wedding to Azi Abok was planned for Saturday, April 5, in Anguldi, Zawan Jos, but was unexpectedly called off on Friday due to differing church affiliations.

Initial reports indicated that Patience was responsible for the cancellation. However, a writer from Jos, Paul Kums, revealed that the groom’s mother was the one who called it off after Patience, a Catholic, mentioned she would continue attending her church after the wedding.

The groom is affiliated with the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN).
