A Nigerian woman has made a disturbing accusation against a doctor in Abuja, claiming he stole one of her newborn twins during delivery.
The allegation, shared by X user @ChuksEricE, details the woman’s traumatic experience. According to her, a prenatal scan had clearly shown she was pregnant with twins. However, after giving birth, she was handed only one baby and informed that the other had died.
When she requested to see the deceased infant, the hospital allegedly told her the body was too badly damaged to be shown.
Her suspicions intensified when she reportedly saw the doctor’s wife at a children’s hospital with a baby who bore a striking resemblance to her missing child.
In her statement, she said: “During my pregnancy, a scan at the hospital showed I was expecting twins. But after delivery, I was only given one baby and told the other had died.”
“When I asked for the body, they claimed it was too damaged to identify. I became suspicious. Later, I saw my doctor’s wife at a children’s hospital with a child who looked exactly like mine.”
