Nigerian Oil Mogul Saleh Baba Salbas’ Father Passes Away

Alhaji Baba Danfulani Rano, the father of Alhaji Saleh Baba Rano, chairman and CEO of Salbas Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited, has passed away at the age of 65.

He died in the early hours of Wednesday at a hospital in Kano after a brief illness.

A family member, speaking with Kano Times on the condition of anonymity, confirmed the news and expressed sorrow over the loss. “It’s a sad moment for us as a family. He was not just a father, but a guiding figure to all of us,” the family member said.

The late Alhaji Baba Danfulani Rano will be laid to rest at 11:00 a.m. today, with burial rites to follow Islamic traditions in his hometown of Rano, Kano State.
