Nasara Women Development Foundation, popularly known as Nasara Foundation, will officially launch its new publication, The Nasara Chronicle, and celebrate its third anniversary.

The anniversary event is scheduled to be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Kebbi State.

According to a statement, the organisation’s third anniversary underscored its unwavering commitment to its mission and the impact it has made within local communities.

As part of the celebration, The Nasara Chronicle will be formally introduced. The journal is envisioned as a platform for documenting the foundation’s projects, sharing insights, and providing in-depth analysis of issues relevant to social and economic empowerment.

The publication will offer stakeholders and the general public valuable updates on the foundation’s initiatives and their outcomes.

The inaugural edition of The Nasara Chronicle was edited by seasoned broadcast journalist and public relations expert Segun Adebowale.

It noted that the journal is expected to enhance transparency and engagement with the foundation’s beneficiaries and partners.

The founder of Nasara Foundation and First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Idris, said, “Reaching our third anniversary reflects the sustained effort of our team and the invaluable support of our partners and the communities we engage with.

The launch of The Nasara Chronicle is a deliberate step towards enhancing our communication and accountability.

“This journal will serve as a formal platform to chronicle our journey, share evidence of our impact, and contribute to the broader discourse on sustainable development and social empowerment.”

The foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Hajiya Bilkisu Nasir, said, “Marking three years provides a moment to reflect on the tangible impact of our initiatives. The Nasara Chronicle emerges from this, offering a structured platform to share not only our successes but also the valuable lessons learnt through our programmes.

“We believe this transparency is necessary for continuous improvement and deeper engagement with our stakeholders.”

Since its inception, Nasara Foundation has implemented numerous programmes focusing on skill development, healthcare accessibility, educational support, and financial empowerment.

“These initiatives continue to transform lives across Kebbi State, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to sustainable community development,” it stated.
