A CCTV video has revealed the shocking moment a man boldly entered a boutique and stole two iPhones while the owner and sales representative were fast asleep.
The footage, shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by user @ChuksEricE, shows the thief walking into the store at night. The video captures him assessing the situation for a few seconds before realizing that both the owner and sales rep were asleep.
Seizing the opportunity, the man scanned the store and spotted a phone charging. He quietly unplugged it and, without alerting the sleeping staff, picked up another phone placed beside one of them.
The entire theft was captured on the boutique’s CCTV, which clearly showed the suspect’s face. As the video went viral, social media users reacted with mixed feelings, some expressing shock and others concern over the audacity of the crime.
