A Nigerian woman recounted her experience during the registration for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
She explained how she went to a cybercafe for thumbprinting and photo capturing to finalize her registration.
In a TikTok video by @kiahcakes, she revealed that she and another woman with a similar skin tone were instructed to apply charcoal to their faces.
This was necessary because capturing images of light-skinned individuals proved to be challenging.
Ultimately, both women used the charcoal, which allowed for successful image capturing.
She remarked, “When they said NYSC will humble you, this is one of the perfect examples.”
