Lady Alleges Threats from Friend’s Mum After Billing Her Husband Who Asked Her Out

- A Nigerian lady has publicly accused her friend’s mother of threatening her for billing her husband, who has been persistently asking her out on Facebook.
A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to raise concerns after allegedly receiving threats from her friend’s mother, following an uncomfortable situation involving the woman’s husband.
Sharing her story on X (formerly Twitter), the lady identified as @Apeke_olamii said her friend’s father sent her a friend request on Facebook and began sending her romantic messages. Despite ignoring him at first, his persistence led her to eventually “bill” him—a slang term used to mean asking someone for money.
According to her, the man agreed and sent her money after she provided her account details.
Feeling uneasy about the situation, she later confided in her friend, who went on to inform her mother. What followed, she claimed, was a barrage of threats from the woman.
In her words:
“My friend’s dad added me on Facebook and asked me out. I ignored him, but he kept coming back, so I billed him. He sent me money. A week later, I told my friend, and now her mum won’t stop calling and threatening me.”
