Kano Pilgrims Welfare Board Announces Hajj Airlift Date

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that the airlift of pilgrims from the state for the 2025 Hajj will begin on May 13, 2025.
This was confirmed in a statement by the board’s spokesman, Sulaiman Dederi.
The Director General of the board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, shared the news during a visit to the Hajj Induction Course at the Ungogo and Bichi Local Government Centers on Saturday, part of preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage.
Alhaji Danbappa also revealed that Kano would kick off the airlift operations with Max Air on May 13, 2025, as outlined in the schedule by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
He assured that all necessary arrangements had been made well in advance to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
In a related development, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, encouraged intending pilgrims to consistently attend the Hajj Induction Courses, emphasizing the importance of the training for their own benefit.
He also reminded pilgrims to adhere to the regulations set by both Nigerian and Saudi Arabian authorities during the pilgrimage.
