Kano Governor’s Aide, Tanka Galadanci, Dies
The Kano State Government has announced the passing of Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on Radio. He died on March 26, 2025, after a brief illness at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.
In a statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing Galadanci as a “dedicated and invaluable member” of his administration.
The late aide played a significant role in shaping the state’s media and communication strategies.
“The passing of Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci is a great loss to our administration and the entire Kano State,” Governor Yusuf stated. “His commitment and passion for enhancing our communication channels will be deeply missed.”
The Governor extended his condolences to Galadanci’s family, friends, and colleagues, urging others to support them during “this difficult time.”
Galadanci’s burial is scheduled for 5:30 PM today at Filin Galadanchi Mosque, near the residence of the Galadiman Kano.
