Justice Wada Rano’s Death Great Loss to Kano — Kwankwaso

Former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, has mourned the passing of retired High Court judge, Justice Wada Umar Rano, who died at the age of 76.
In a condolence message released on Sunday, Kwankwaso paid tribute to the late jurist, describing him as a man of profound wisdom whose contributions to the legal profession and the state will be greatly missed.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and associates of the esteemed Justice Wada Umar Rano, a revered figure in the Kano State High Court, who passed away at the age of 76,” he said.
Kwankwaso, who served as Governor when Justice Rano retired in 2013, noted that his death occurred at a time when the state still stood to benefit from his wealth of knowledge and experience.
“Justice Rano, who retired during my tenure as Governor in 2013, died on Thursday at a moment when his insights and guidance were still very much needed in our state,” he added.
He further extended his sympathies to the Kano State Judiciary and the Government of Kano State, praying for divine solace for all those affected by the loss.
“I also sympathize with the Kano State Judiciary and the State Government on this great loss. May Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus,” Kwankwaso prayed.
