JAMB Candidate Who Scored 326 Gets Unexpected Re-sit Notification

  • A JAMB candidate who scored 326 in the UTME exam has been rescheduled to retake the test, as per a message from the examination body.
  • User @swagpriest2 expressed frustration over the development in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) page.

A candidate who scored an impressive 326 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has expressed outrage after receiving a message from JAMB notifying him that he must retake the exam.

The development was shared via X (formerly Twitter) by user @swagpriest2, who posted a screenshot of the rescheduling notice and voiced his frustration over the situation.

Just days earlier, the student had proudly shared his UTME score online with the caption, “Hope 326 isn’t a bad score for Twitter NG.” His optimism quickly turned to dismay when JAMB, following reports of technical issues at several centers, announced that certain candidates would need to retake the exam—regardless of their initial scores.

In his latest tweet, he wrote: “WTF I got rescheduled… I’m not even in Lagos. Gosh, this country is so awful.”

His post quickly went viral, drawing sympathy from fellow users and sparking renewed debate over JAMB’s handling of examination irregularities and the stress it places on students.

Reacting to the post…

@darhythms: “Also did you by any chance write in Lagos and then move afterwards?”

@__onisamuel: “Is it that they just pick candidates to result again?”

@Yhuchez: “Lmao. Them take back the score. Them say jo be your own.”

@mrsaka_1: “Thought they said they rescheduled those that scored below 200 only ?”

@99daagentts: “So wtf happened to your previous results? What’s the necessity of sitting again for another exam??”
