A Nigerian candidate for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has voiced her frustration on social media after reportedly receiving a score of 149, despite achieving 297 in the mock exams.
The candidate, identified as @Midettw on X (formerly Twitter), expressed disbelief over the results, claiming the score does not reflect her actual performance. She explained that she had studied diligently, practiced consistently, and went into the exam fully prepared.
In a series of posts, she revealed that during her practice tests, including those on platforms like Test Driller, she consistently scored above 280, and never dipped into the 100s.
She wrote: “Throughout all my CBT practice tests, including Test Driller and others, I consistently scored above 280, never dropping to the 100s. However, my official result is now showing 149. @JAMBHQ, please review and rectify this discrepancy. #THISISNOTMYRESULT.”
In another post, she added: “I checked my results this morning expecting 300+ but was shocked to see 149, with my highest being Chemistry (44). I don’t know what’s going on, but I do know.”
