Isaac Fayose Reacts To Deeone Over Video About Nigerian Passport

  • Isaac Fayose, reacted to a viral video by comedian Deeone.
  • Deeone’s video discussed the importance of the Nigerian passport.
  • The video was prompted by entertainer Tunde Ednut’s announcement of his new American citizenship.

Isaac Fayose, entrepreneur and younger brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, has responded to a viral video by comedian Deeone concerning the value of the Nigerian passport.

Deeone had earlier emphasized the significance of the Nigerian passport in a video shared after entertainer Tunde Ednut revealed he had officially become an American citizen.

In his reaction, Isaac Fayose strongly disagreed with Deeone’s sentiments, stating that the Nigerian passport holds little to no global value when compared to its American counterpart. He criticized the country’s lack of support and opportunities for its citizens, branding the Nigerian passport as one of the least useful.

Fayose didn’t hold back in his assessment of the nation’s condition, claiming that Nigerians are enduring extremely difficult circumstances — what he described as “living in hell.”

He went on to suggest that Deeone’s remarks may have been made merely for content creation, arguing that in reality, the Nigerian passport does not allow visa-free access to countries like Kenya or the UAE, unlike the American passport.

In a video statement, Fayose hailed U.S. citizenship as a significant milestone and congratulated Tunde Ednut, who had recently celebrated his birthday by gifting millions of naira to fans. He also referenced a claim that former U.S. President Donald Trump once proposed a $5 million fee for citizenship — a sum that, according to Fayose, many would still be willing to pay due to the advantages it offers.

He concluded by saying that if Deeone truly understood the privileges that come with American citizenship, he might reconsider and even regret his previous comments.
