Tension rose during the #FreeVDM protest as popular influencer Jojo of Lele was reportedly locked inside the premises of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The protest, held in support of activist VeryDarkMan, drew several supporters to the EFCC office demanding his release.

Jojo of Lele, who had gone to lend her voice to the cause, allegedly found herself unable to exit the compound after gaining access.
