Governor Yusuf: Rano Emirate to See More Infrastructure Upgrades

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Thursday received the Emir of Rano, Ambassador Muhammad Isa Umar, at the Kano Government House as part of a traditional Sallah homage.
The visit, described as a symbol of unity and tradition, provided an avenue for discussions on key issues affecting the development and welfare of the Rano Emirate.
In a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to improving infrastructure, water supply, healthcare, education, and agriculture in the emirate.
“We remain committed to the progress and well-being of the Rano Emirate. Our administration will continue to invest in critical sectors to ensure sustainable development for the people,” Governor Yusuf stated.
The governor also acknowledged the contributions of Rano residents to the success of his administration, assuring them of continued inclusion in government programs and policies.
“The people of Rano Emirate have played a significant role in the success of our government. They will always remain a priority in our developmental agenda,” he added.
In his response, the Emir of Rano expressed gratitude for the warm reception, commending the governor’s efforts to uplift the emirate.
“We appreciate the commitment of Governor Yusuf to the development of Rano Emirate. We pledge our continuous support towards ensuring peace, progress, and stability in Kano State,” the emir stated.
