A Nigerian jewelry vendor is pleading for help after her employee, Lucy, allegedly stole gold and diamond jewelry worth ₦100 million from her store before disappearing.
The incident, which took place at Flawless Elegance Luxury Jewelry Store, gained widespread attention after a video of the devastated business owner surfaced on X (formerly Twitter).
In the emotional footage, the vendor is seen in distress as she recounts how she entrusted Lucy with her business, only for her to vanish with the entire stock of precious jewelry.
Now seeking justice, the vendor has shared Lucy’s photo and is urging the public to assist in locating her.
In her emotional plea, she said: “Please help me. I don’t know what went wrong. I hired a staff just like everyone else. She took everything—my gold, my investments, everything I’ve worked for.”
“I don’t deserve this, I’ve been so good to her.”
