Federal Lawmaker Kabiru Rurum Condoles Salbas CEO Over Father’s Death

The Member Representing Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency, Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Rano family over the passing of Alhaji Baba Danfulani Rano, father of Alhaji Saleh Baba Rano, Chairman and CEO of Salbas Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited.
In a statement personally signed by him, Hon. Rurum described the late Alhaji Baba Danfulani as a man of integrity, whose life was a testament to godliness, tolerance, justice, and honesty.
“On behalf of myself and my family, I commiserate with Alhaji Saleh Baba Rano and the entire Rano family on the loss of their beloved father. The late Alhaji Baba Danfulani was a devout Muslim who embodied dignity and finesse. His legacy of service, wisdom, and leadership will continue to inspire generations to come,” the lawmaker stated.
He further noted that the deceased contributions to society and his role as a guiding figure would be sorely missed, especially at a time when his fatherly advice was still needed.
Alhaji Baba Danfulani Rano passed away in the early hours of Wednesday at a hospital in Kano following a brief illness. A family member, who spoke to Kano Times on condition of anonymity, confirmed the sad development and described the loss as a deep blow to the family.
“It’s a sad moment for us as a family. He was not just a father but a guiding figure to all of us,” the family member said.
