FBI, DEA Reports on Tinubu Already Public – Presidency

The Presidency has responded to a recent U.S. court ruling ordering law enforcement agencies to release files on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the documents in question have long been available to the public.
A U.S. District Court had directed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to make public any confidential records related to President Tinubu.
Reacting to the development, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, said the reports being requested contain nothing new and do not implicate the President.
“These reports have been in the public domain for over 30 years,” Onanuga stated. “They include documents by Agent Moss of the FBI and findings from the DEA. They do not indict President Tinubu in any way.”
