Eid al-Kabir: Gwiwa LG Chair Applauds Gov Namadi’s Vision for Jigawa, Calls for Inclusive Celebrations

The Executive Chairman of Gwiwa Local Government Council, Honourable Muhammad Zakari, CNA, has extended Eid al-Kabir greetings to Muslims in Gwiwa Local Government Area and across Jigawa State.
In a statement signed by the Press Unit of his office, Honourable Zakari urged Muslims to reflect on the values of sacrifice and tolerance.
“As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, let us remember the less fortunate, promote unity, and pray for the continued progress of Gwiwa and Jigawa State at large,” he said.
He called on citizens to prioritise peace and harmony by setting aside ethnic, religious, and political differences.
“Let us embrace the timeless virtues of love, sacrifice, tolerance, and unity,” Honourable Zakari added.
The Gwiwa Chairman encouraged residents to uphold their tradition of generosity during the Sallah celebration.
He also appealed to individuals and organisations to support the less privileged.
Zakari expressed his support for the policies of Governor Malam Umar Namadi.
“We must continue to support the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Malam Umar Namadi, whose policies on rural transformation are paving the way for a more prosperous Jigawa State,” he said.
