  • He advised women marriage to avoid buying a house or car before getting married.

Trouble is said to be looming for celebrities like Toke Makinwa, Mercy Eke, Sophia Egbueje, and others as a pastor shares his views on spiritual factors that may be preventing them from finding a husband.

In a video circulating on social media, Pastor David Uche highlighted his perspective on relationships and marriage. He explained that a woman who desires to marry should refrain from purchasing a house or a car until after her marriage. According to the pastor, these actions can interfere with the natural course of a relationship.

The pastor, while addressing his congregation, argued that a single woman who has attained financial success by purchasing property, cars, and managing everything on her own may unknowingly make it difficult for herself to find a suitable partner. He emphasized that financial independence, while valuable, can sometimes harden the heart, which in turn may affect a woman’s ability to connect with a man.

Uche further advised that women should consider living with their parents or with close family members until they meet the right man. By doing so, he believes they would be in a better position to build a lasting marriage.

The pastor also made a controversial claim about young women in higher education, suggesting that many of them, due to living far from home, are engaging in questionable activities. He mentioned that some 19-year-old girls’ actions would deeply shock their parents, as they are no longer under parental supervision.

While these comments have sparked significant debate, they highlight a broader conversation around the influence of finances, independence, and family dynamics on relationships.

In his words; “If you’re doing everything on your own and living alone, it becomes difficult for a man to see how he fits into your life. Money makes the heart independent and strong. Stay with your parents—it’s a man who is supposed to come and take you into his home. Live with your sister or family. Only when you move into a man’s house should you start taking full responsibility. Today, 80% of girls in school are engaging in prostitution. You’d be shocked to know what some 19-year-old girls are doing now.”
