Delta Gov. Aide Gwamnishu Replies Those Telling Him To Stop Posting About Kidnapping Happening

Harrison Gwamnishu, who serves as the Senior Special Assistant on Civil Society and Youth Mobilisation to the Delta State Governor, has reacted to criticism for his outspoken stance on the rising kidnappings in his community.

He affirmed his dedication to improving safety and will not cease his efforts to highlight the insecurity issues.

As a human rights activist, Gwamnishu has been particularly concerned about the increase in kidnappings allegedly involving some Fulani herders.

He made these remarks in a Facebook post on April 7, following the kidnapping of an airport driver and his passenger on the Issele-Uku expressway.

“Yes, I am a Government Appointee. If you come and tell me to stop posting about this Kidnapping happening around my community because I’m part of the Government. Thunder from Abatete will fire you. Some of us are with the Government to HELP,” he wrote.
