Deeone Reacts To VeryDarkman’s Release From EFCC Custody, Criticizes Supporters

Former Big Brother Naija contestant Aderombi Adedayo Martin, popularly known as Deeone, has weighed in on the recent release of social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to reports by GistLover, VDM regained his freedom after some time in EFCC custody. The news was shared by his associate, Dkokopee, and further confirmed by nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chiefpriest, who posted a video showing VDM leaving the agency’s premises.
Reacting to the development, Deeone criticized VDM’s fanbase, referred to as the “Ratels,” accusing them of encouraging actions that led to the activist’s legal troubles. He revealed that he had just returned to Lagos and acknowledged the efforts of an unnamed but respected human rights lawyer who played a key role in securing VDM’s release.
In a video message, Deeone warned VDM’s supporters not to put him in jeopardy again, hinting that further trouble would serve as a learning experience for the activist. He also stressed that the case was far from over, stating that VDM is still expected to appear in court to face charges related to alleged financial crimes.
It’s worth noting that Deeone and VDM have a history of conflict. Deeone has previously mocked VDM and his fan community, particularly after losing his TikTok account, seizing every chance to criticize them publicly.
