Atiku, El-Rufai, Tambuwal, Suswam Storm Buhari House in Kaduna

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and several political heavyweights, including former governors Nasir El-Rufai, Aminu Tambuwal, and Gabriel Suswam, paid a surprise visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his Kaduna residence on Friday.
Others in the entourage included former Imo State Governor Achike Udenwa, ex-Adamawa Governor Jibrilla Bindow, and former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami.
Taking to his verified X handle, Atiku shared moments from the visit, describing it as a “wonderful time” with the former president.
“As the Waziri of Adamawa, I was in my home state for the Sallah celebrations, standing in for the Lamido Fombina during some of the events,” Atiku wrote. “Today, I had the opportunity to pay a post-Sallah visit to His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari. It was a delightful moment. As always, his unique sense of humor had me laughing so hard my ribs hurt.”
While Atiku didn’t go into details about what was discussed behind closed doors, the high-profile visit has sparked political interest and speculation.
This visit comes just days after a group of APC governors met with Buhari in Kaduna, where the former president reaffirmed his loyalty to the ruling party. Dismissing rumors of any rift, Buhari assured them he remained committed to promoting the APC and its ideals.
