Adanma Luke, the producer behind the tragic film The Other Side of Life, which featured the late Nollywood star John Paul Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, has spoken out for the first time since the heartbreaking incident.

In an emotional tribute shared in 2024, Luke opened up about the deep emotional toll the tragedy has taken on her. She expressed how devastated and traumatized she feels, admitting that she often wishes she could turn back time and undo the events.

According to Luke, the loss of Junior Pope and four other crew members has caused her unimaginable pain—describing it as a persistent ache that only divine intervention can ease.

She went on to share that since the tragedy, she has struggled to find joy, losing not only her smile and voice but also her passion for the work she once loved.

“Losing you guys left me with a headache no one can heal unless God intervenes. I lost my smiles, I lost my voice, I lost passion for what i loved doing. If all could go away and i still have you guys I’d still be grateful,” Luke said.

The producer shared her sympathy with the families of Junior Pope, Friday, Abigail, Olanti, and Precious, praying for their souls to find peace.

“I sympathize with your loved ones on this day and believe that God is taking good care of you all till we meet again🙏🏾 keep resting in the Lord my friends and colleagues JP, Friday, Abigail, Olanti and Precious,” she added.

Luke also included a tribute video with pictures of her late colleagues in her post.

She, however, locked her comment section.
