Abdulkadir Yusuf Guɗe, Former Kano PDP Gubernatorial Aspirant, Passes Away

The Northern Reform Organization (NRO) is mourning the loss of its Secretary General, Builder Abdulkadir Yusuf Guɗe, who passed away today, Friday, at the age of 63.
The news of his passing was shared by Mal Hamisu Umar Yakasai, an associate of the deceased and a member of the NRO.
In his statement, Mal Yakasai expressed deep sorrow, saying, “We have lost a valuable member of our community, a dedicated leader, and a true friend to many. His passion, expertise, and commitment to his work had an indelible impact on all who knew him.”
Abdulkadir Yusuf Guɗe had been battling a long-term illness before his death, which occurred around 5 a.m. He leaves behind his wife, children, and many relatives who will cherish his memory.
His funeral will take place today, with his remains being laid to rest at the Farm Centre Graveyard in Tarauni Local Government Area, Kano.
The burial will occur after the funeral prayers (Janaiza) at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the Bayero University Kano (BUK) Old Campus Juma’at Mosque.
Guɗe, a founding member of the Kano State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a former gubernatorial aspirant, was a man of influence.
“We deeply mourn the death of Alh Abdulkadir Yusuf Guɗe, a gentleman, community leader, urbane public servant, and statesman,” said a spokesperson from the NRO. “His absence will be felt profoundly by his colleagues, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him.”
