  • Critics have attempted to undermine Mr P’s success based on the song’s YouTube view count.

Nigerian singer and former Psquare member, Rudeboy (Paul Okoye), is celebrating his success amid criticism faced by his brother, Mr P.

This comes after Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, responded to critics who tried to undermine the success of his latest single, ODO, based on its YouTube view count.

According to GistLover, the twin brothers recently released new singles simultaneously and have been promoting their work in different ways.

On X (formerly Twitter), Mr P addressed trolls who flooded his page, mocking the YouTube statistics of his song and comparing it to other artists.

He made it clear that he is not competing with anyone and values genuine support over inflated figures.

The singer concluded his message by thanking his fans and reminding them that ODO is steadily gaining traction.

“We’re getting there. Thanks so much. ODO,” he said.

Following this, Rudeboy took to his Instagram story to announce that his new single, Billio$, has accumulated 2 million views on YouTube in just five days.
