Veteran Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze made a surprising comeback to social media on Sunday, May 18, sparking joy among his fans and followers.
After spending several years away from the public eye due to health challenges, Clem re-emerged through a TikTok live session, marking his first online appearance since undergoing intensive medical care.
In the video, the celebrated actor, wearing a cervical collar for neck and spinal support, engaged with fans and colleagues. His visible enthusiasm reflected the excitement of reconnecting with the public.
Photographs shared by filmmaker Stanley Ontop also showed Clem taking part in physical therapy, working to rebuild his strength and overall fitness.
It will be recalled that Clem had previously asked for public prayers ahead of a surgical procedure aimed at separating vertebrae 3 and 4 in his spine.
Sharing the update on social media, Stanley wrote:
“Nigerians in jubilation as Nollywood actor Clem Ohaneze made his first appearance on internet after so many years of medical isolation. Clem Ohanaeze is currently live on TikTok now… go there and say your prayers to him…. He’s recuperating so fast. Thank God he’s getting better.”
Back in 2021, Clem Ohameze emotionally broke down when Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin gifted him ₦8 million to support his surgery, a moment that resonated deeply with many Nigerians.
Clem Ohameze, who began professional acting in 1995, rose to fame with his standout performance in the 1999 blockbuster Endtime. With over three decades in the industry, his return has sparked widespread celebration among fans and colleagues alike.
