MAAUN Founder Donates 60-Seater Bus to Kano College of Education

The Founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, donated a 60-seater bus to Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso, Kano State.

Prof. Gwarzo announced the donation during a courtesy visit to the College Provost, Dr. Kabir Ahmad Gwarzo, on Thursday.

“I congratulate you on your appointment,” Prof. Gwarzo said. “This is part of my effort to support educational development.”

He said MAAUN would continue its collaboration with Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education.

While speaking about the Provost, Prof. Gwarzo said, “I am confident that your leadership will guide the college towards greater achievements.”

Prof. Gwarzo, who is also President of the Association of African Private Universities (AAPU), commented on the appointment of Dr. Gwarzo by Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, saying, “It was a merit-based decision that acknowledged his skills and expertise.”

In his response, Dr. Gwarzo said, “We appreciate this donation,” adding that “MAAUN has a longstanding tradition of supporting higher institutions across the country.”

He also said, “Prof. Gwarzo has shown commitment to improving Nigeria’s education system and empowering women and youth.”

The Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation (AAG) has made similar donations to other institutions, including Kaduna Polytechnic, Al-Istiqama University in Sumaila, Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Bayero University Kano, and North West University Kano.

Other beneficiaries include Dan Dicko Dankoulodo University of Maradi in Niger Republic, Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology in Wudil, and Federal Polytechnic Kabo.
