Human rights advocate, Ochiegbu Marvelous, who became involved in the situation, stated that the man also had the woman detained after alleging that she tried to poison him five years prior.

As reported by Ochiegbu, the man liquidated his 20 plots of land to manage issues with his wife, and when his son challenged him, he implicated the son in the petition, labeling him a ‘kidnapper.’

“80-year old man from my village served his wife of 70yrs divorce papers last week from high court Abia. Their first son is in 40’s,” he wrote.

Yesterday I and my team secured the release of the said wife (Mama) from state SCIID who he arrested alleging that she attempted to poison him 5years ago! Funny man!
