Bride, Bridesmaids Slammed for Owing Hairstylist ₦511K After Marathon 6:30am–9pm Session
A Nigerian hairstylist has publicly criticized a bride and her bridesmaids for allegedly attempting to defraud her after she provided services from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
In a series of posts on her X (formerly Twitter) account, the stylist conveyed her disappointment, stating that despite dedicating numerous hours to the bride and her party, they refused to compensate her.
She mentioned “Did a job for a bride on Saturday and I have a balance of 401k with her. Of course, I couldn’t go to the hall to ask for my balance because this isn’t even my first time working with her. Realized she blocked me on all platforms this morning.”
The stylist further noted that she offered high-quality service despite difficulties with the bride’s hair, which had visible flyaways.
My friend even asked why her hair had so many flyaways. I had to come up with something on the spot. This [bride] still found a way to blame me for her bridesmaids’ lateness.”
After dragging the bride and her team in several posts, she confirmed that the debt had been settled: “I’m so grateful fr. 401k from bride, 110k from bridesmaids. Omo, I worked from 6:30am to 9pm and you want to cheat me? Madness.”
