Singer Portable Slams Headies Award For Not Recognizing Him

Just days after his release from prison, Portable is back in the spotlight. The street music sensation took to social media to express his frustration about not being recognised at the recent Headies Awards.
Portable had been incarcerated for three months after allegedly assaulting a police officer in Ogun State. Following his release, which came after he paid a fine of N30,000, he immediately stirred up controversy online.
In a newly surfaced video, Portable lashed out at the Headies for failing to honour him at the event. He claimed that he was deserving of a performance slot, but his imprisonment, which lasted five days, prevented him from attending.
Additionally, Portable took the opportunity to advise fellow artists, urging them to avoid buying awards from the organisers of such shows.
