Brekete Family’s Ahmad Isah Refutes Arrest Claims

An associate of Ahmad Isah, known as the “Ordinary President,” has denied rumors circulating on social media that he has been arrested and imprisoned.
The associate, who said he has worked with Isah for over 16 years, described the reports as “false, misleading, and completely unfounded.”
According to him, Isah is alive, well, and currently taking a break after years of working in public life.
“For 16 years, Ahmad Isah has dedicated his life tirelessly to fighting for the oppressed, the marginalized, and the voiceless. Throughout this period, he has rarely taken a break, except during moments of personal grief or following incidents of violence,” the associate said.
He explained that Isah decided to step away from public activities to rest, not because of any arrest or legal issues.
“At 4 a.m. while others slept, he was already awake, preparing to champion the cause of justice. From early morning broadcasts to late-night interventions, his commitment has been unwavering. Even the strongest warriors must take time to heal and renew their strength,” the associate added.
He asked the public to ignore the rumors and instead offer prayers and support during this time.
“Ahmad Isah is not missing. He is not broken. He is not defeated. He is only resting, so that when he returns, he will be even stronger in the fight against injustice,” he said.
The associate also urged media organizations and the public to verify information before sharing it, especially about people involved in public work.
Ahmad Isah is known for his work through the Brekete Family program, which offers a platform for citizens seeking justice.
