Ex-Kano SSG Baffa Bichi, Kabiru Rurum, Sha’aban Sharada, Others Join APC

In a major political development, several influential leaders from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and the Action Democratic Party (ADP) have officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The defection took place during a meeting at the residence of APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, in Abuja. Also in attendance was Abdullahi Abbas, the Kano State APC Chairman.

Among the high-profile defectors are Senator Kawu Sumaila, Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, member representing Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency; Hon. Abdullahi Sani Rogo, member representing Karaye and Rogo Federal Constituency; and Hon. Zubairu Hamza Massu, a member of the Kano State House of Assembly representing Sumaila Local Government.

Additionally, former Kano State commissioners Hon. Diggol, Hon. Abbas Sani, and Hon. Baffa Bichi, who served as the Secretary to the Kano State Government, also joined the APC. Also joining the APC is Hon. Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada, a former gubernatorial candidate in Kano under the ADP.
