Influencer Geh Geh Critiques Davido’s ‘5ive’ Album, Calls It Average

- Nigerian influencer Geh Geh deems Davido’s new album, 5ive, average for three reasons.
- Davido has recently released his fifth studio album, 5ive.
- Geh Geh deemed the album to be a mid-level one based on his assessment.
Popular Nigerian influencer and self-proclaimed financial expert, Geh Geh, has sparked conversations online with his review of Davido’s latest album, 5ive, claiming it falls short of expectations.
Davido recently released his fifth studio album, which has generated mixed reactions from fans and critics alike. Sharing his thoughts, Geh Geh described the project as “mid,” explaining that it didn’t meet the hype surrounding its release.
According to him, one of the major issues with 5ive is the inclusion of unnecessary collaborations—particularly with American singer Chris Brown. Geh Geh argued that many Nigerian listeners aren’t interested in such international features and would have appreciated the platform being used to spotlight rising local talents instead.
In addition to his critique of the guest features, Geh Geh pointed out that Davido’s music style hasn’t evolved. He suggested that the singer’s sound and production haven’t significantly changed since the early days of his career.
“Davido is not evolving; you no dey change, your brand is the same. E just be like say since the days of Dami Duro nothing really change about Davido. Even the sound no dey evolve,” he said in part.

In other news, Nigerian entrepreneur and socialite, Chioma Goodhair, has revealed how she played a pivotal role in getting actress Iyabo Ojo to accept her daughter Priscilla’s relationship with Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux.
The elegant wedding between Priscilla and Juma Jux, which recently took Lagos by storm, has been the subject of widespread attention and admiration on social media.
Taking to her Instagram page, Chioma recounted that although she had supported Priscilla and Juma’s relationship from the beginning, Iyabo Ojo initially had her doubts. One major concern, according to Chioma, was the lack of familiarity between their families and Juma’s Tanzanian background.
Chioma disclosed that she once took a nearly two-hour walk from Oxford Circus to Knightsbridge in London, just to have a heart-to-heart conversation with Iyabo and convince her to give the couple her blessing.
“It wasn’t easy convincing Iyabo,” she wrote. “I remember walking all the way from Oxford Circus to the end of Knightsbridge (almost 2 hours) trying to convince her.”
Her efforts paid off, as Iyabo eventually gave her support, leading to the grand celebration of love that has since captured the hearts of many.
