Dauda Lawal: I’m Not Leaving PDP

Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has debunked rumors suggesting his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), describing it as false and a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.

In a post shared via his verified Facebook account, the governor reiterated his unwavering commitment to PDP, stating: “I am Dauda Lawal, a bona fide member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).”

He urged citizens to ignore what he labeled as “fake news” being spread by detractors who are bent on diverting attention from his administration’s efforts. “Disregard the fake news from detractors determined to distract us from the RESCUE MISSION we have embarked on,” he added.

The post comes amid rising political tensions and speculation around party realignments in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.
